Jack’s Block Shiraz 2015

$300.00

Jack’s Block was planted in 1998 on the highest part of the vineyard. The vines are very low cropping and early picking produces fruit with great freshness, natural balance and aromatics. The fruit was hand-picked, whole bunch fermented and remained on skins for three weeks to gently ferment. 25% of the fruit goes into new French oak barrels which produces a wine of elegance and finesse, with a light touch of oak. The style is similar to Cote Rotie in Northern Rhone. Jack’s Block Shiraz is consistently awarded medals at the Heathcote Wine Show and is made by Michael Dhillon at Bindi Wines.
